John Murry claims Basketball Champions League Asia Hoops Agents weekly honour

American-Malaysian John Murry (194-G-1995, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) put on an amazing game in the last round for Negeri Sembilan Matrix and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 29-year old guard had a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Metal (#3, 1-4) with 23-point margin 89-66. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. NS Matrix maintains the 4th position in Basketball Champions League Asia . The season is still in it's early stage, so the team may have a chance to improve their current position in the standings. They lost 5 games and had just one victory. In the team's last game Murry had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be NS Matrix's top player in his first season with the team. Austin Peay State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Murry is in league's top in points (4th best: 20.8ppg) and averages solid 41.5% from behind 3-point line. Letcher-Ellis is a newcomer at NS Matrix and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Jordan Tolbert (200-F-1992) of top-ranked Xac Broncos Ulaanbaatar. Tolbert scored 16 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. He was a key player of Broncos, leading his team to a 94-73 easy win against #2 ranked Kings. Xac Broncos started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Tolbert turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Tolbert has a very solid season. In 4 games in Basketball Champions League Asia he scored 11.0ppg.
