Nick Rakocevic (ex Sagesse) signs at Gorgan

Defending champion Shahrdari Gorgan (Superleague) signed 26-year-old American (also Serbian passport) 211cm power forward Nick Rakocevic (college: USC, agency: Slash Sports) for the new season. He last played at Sagesse in the Lebanese LBL league, where he averaged an impressive 17.7ppg, 9.4rpg, and 1.6apg in 11 games last season, helping them reach the Lebanese League final. Rakocevic also played 5 games in the West Asia Super League, where he had 10.4ppg, 8.2rpg, and 2.0apg. He briefly played for the Jilin Tigers (CBA) in the Chinese league.
Rakocevic was a member of the Serbian U20 National Team in 2017.
He has also played professionally in China (Golden Bulls) and the Philippines (Hotshots).
Among many awards, he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-PBA Commissioner's Cup Center of the Year in 2023.
Rakocevic graduated from USC in 2020 and it'll be his fifth season in pro hoops.
