The path to winning the Basketball Champions League Asia (BCL Asia) 2024 title has been determined as the groups for the first-ever edition of the event were confirmed in Friday's draw at the Dubai Sports Council in Dubai, UAE. The 8 teams were divided into two groups of four teams each.

Group A: Liaoning Flying Leopards, Shabab Al Ahli, NS Matrix Deers, FIBA WASL Champions
Group B: Hiroshima Dragonflies, FIBA WASL Runner Up, KCC Egis, Pelita Jaya Basketball

The teams will play in a Round-Robin format within their respective groups for a total of three games each in the Group Phase. The top two teams in the standings of each Group will advance to the Semi-Finals. In the Semi-Finals, the first-place teams from Group A and B will play against the second-place team from the opposite group. The winners of each Semi-Finals advance to the Final. The victor of the Final will be crowned champion of the Basketball Champions League Asia and earn the right to represent the continent at the FIBA Intercontinental Cup. BCL Asia is rebranded from the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, Asia's premier club competition. The inaugural edition of the tournament will take place from June 9-15 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
