Hester is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Croatian swingman Dominic Gilbert (198-1996, college: UBC, agency: BIG) produced 9 points, 19 rebounds and 5 assists and Canadian center Chris McLaughlin (208-1992, college: Victoria) added 17 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

His fellow American import guard Jaquori McLaughlin (193-1998, college: UCSB, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 21 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Jordan Tolbert (200-1992, college: SMU) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and guard Chun-Hong Ting (193-1996) added 24 points in the effort for NS Matrix. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. NS Matrix's coach rotated twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
