HK Eastern made 27-of-35 charity shots (77.1 percent) during the game. NS Matrix was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Croatian swingman Dominic Gilbert (198-1996, college: UBC, agency: BIG) nailed a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and Canadian center Chris McLaughlin (208-1992, college: Victoria) accounted for 16 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. Four HK Eastern players scored in double figures. American forward Jordan Tolbert (200-1992, college: SMU) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks and the other American import point guard Taishaun Johnson (183-1994, college: PVAMU) added 23 points, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for NS Matrix in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
