Very expected game when 8th rankedAnyang (1-4) was crushed at home by third ranked KoGas (4-1) 97-64 on Wednesday. KoGas outrebounded Anyang 34-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. KoGas looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-1989, college: St.Bonaventure) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Senegalese center Youssou Ndoye (213-1991, college: St.Bonaventure) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Five KoGas players scored in double figures. American Michael Young (206-1994, college: Pittsburgh) produced 21 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and the former international center Jonghyun Lee (206-1994) added 6 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KoGas have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Sono SG and Seoul Knights. Loser Anyang keeps the eighth place with four games lost. They share the position with Wonju DB.
