Blowinds shot 29 for 41 from the free-throw line, while Gambarous only scored thirteen points from the stripe. Strangely Gambarous outrebounded Blowinds 42-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. Gambarous were plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated also this game. Guard Tray Boyd III (193-1998, college: ETSU) scored 37 points (!!!) to lead the charge for the winners and forward Perry Ellis (203-1993, college: Kansas) chipped in 14 points during the contest. Power forward Jeremy Combs (201-1995, college: Texas Southern) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds and power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-1996, college: CSUN, agency: One Motive Sports) scored 24 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
