No shocking result in a game in Seoul where second rankedSakers (37-17) smashed bottom-ranked Samsung Thunders (15-39) 98-63 on Sunday. LG Sakers dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Samsung Thunders ' 30. LG Sakers outrebounded Seoul Thunders 42-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. LG Sakers looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when LG Sakers made 8 blocks. It was a great evening for Spanish-Colombian power forward Juan Tello-Palacios (206-1985) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized American guard Justin Gutang (191-1997, college: Skyline JC) helped adding 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Sakers players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Ishmael Lane (203-1997, college: NSU) responded with 13 points and the former international forward Junghyun Lee (191-1987) scored 9 points and 7 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. LG Sakers maintains second place with 37-17 record having four points less than leader Wonju DB. Loser Samsung Thunders stay dead last with 39 lost games.
