Eighth-rankedSkygunners (18-35) were very close to win a game against first ranked Wonju DB (40-13). Wonju DB managed to secure only two-point victory 86-84 . However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Skygunners. Wonju DB players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American guard Ethan Alvano (185-1996, college: CSUSM) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners and his fellow American import center Jeff Withey (213-1990, college: Kansas) chipped in 20 points and 18 rebounds. Alvano is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Nigerian-American center Chinanu Onuaku (207-1996, college: Louisville) responded with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 31 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Jeong-Hyeon Lee (187-1999) scored 15 points and 7 assists. Wonju DB maintains first place with 40-13 record. Sono SG at the other side keeps the eighth position with 35 games lost.
