Very expected game when 9th rankedSkygunners (12-25) lost to second ranked Sakers (25-12) in Daegu 70-74 on Tuesday. LG Sakers looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international forward Hongseok Yang (199-1997) nailed 19 points and 5 assists for the winning side and Spanish-Colombian power forward Juan Tello-Palacios (206-1985) accounted for 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Sakers players scored in double figures. Nigerian-American center Chinanu Onuaku (207-1996, college: Louisville) came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds and forward Jong-hyun Lee (191-1999) added 13 points and 6 assists respectively for Sono SG in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Sakers have a solid series of four victories in a row. LG Sakers maintains second place with 25-12 record having five points less than leader Wonju DB. Loser Skygunners keeps the ninth position with 25 games lost.
