Regular Season Round 27: Wonju DB - Mobis Phoebus 91-99

The most surprising game was a loss of top-rankedWonju DB (27-8) at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Mobis Phoebus (18-17) 99-91 . Mobis Phoebus outrebounded Wonju DB 46-34 including 18 on the offensive glass. Mobis Phoebus looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Gaige Prim (203-1999, college: Missouri St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 16 rebounds. Guard Moobeen Park (185-2001) helped adding 13 points and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was American guard Ethan Alvano (185-1996, college: CSUSM) with 17 points and 8 assists and guard Jongkyu Kim (184-1988) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mobis Phoebus maintains fifth place with 18-17 record. Wonju DB at the other side still keeps top position with eight games lost. Mobis Phoebus are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Seoul Thunders (#10) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Wonju DB will play against KoGas (#7) in Inchon and is hoping to win this game.
