Regular Season Round 8: Kazma - Al-Manama 82-102

The game between Top Four teams took place in Kuwait City. 3rd ranked Kuwaiti hostKazma (1-3) was smashed by top-ranked Bahrain Al-Manama (4-0) 102-82 . Al-Manama outrebounded Kazma 47-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. Al-Manama looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Kazma helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Travin Thibodeaux (203-1996, college: New Orleans) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman SirDominic Pointer (198-1992, college: St.John's) who added 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five Al-Manama players scored in double figures. Power forward Clinton Chapman (208-1989, college: Texas, agency: Diamond Sports) responded with 35 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and swingman Travis Leslie (193-1990, college: Georgia) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Al-Manama have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending Bahrain champion maintains first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Gorgan. Kazma at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. They share the position with Al Ahli and Al Rayyan.
