Regular Season Round 23: KoGas - Anyang 81-70

There was a minor upset when 7th rankedAnyang (11-20) lost to ninth ranked KoGas (10-20) in Inchon 70-81 on Thursday. It was an exceptional evening for Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-1989, college: St.Bonaventure) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. The former international guard Nakhyeon Kim (180-1995) accounted for 13 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Four KoGas players scored in double figures. The former international forward Byung-Jun Bae (188-1990) came up with 18 points and American Robert Carter (206-1994, college: Maryland) added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Anyang in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for KoGas . They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Sono SG. Defending champion Anyang keeps the seventh position with 20 games lost.
