An interesting game for TaiwaneseKings (3-0) which played road game in Manila against 4th ranked Filipino Meralco Bolts (1-4). Top-ranked Kings managed to get a 12-point victory 89-77 . Kings made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. American-Taiwanese point guard Jeremy Lin (191-1988, college: Harvard) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and American swingman Kenny Manigault (195-1991, college: Pikeville) supported him with 12 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Four Kings players scored in double figures. Even 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by American guard Zach Lofton (193-1993, college: NM State, agency: Slash Sports) did not help to save the game for Meralco Bolts . Forward Allein Maliksi (191-1987) added 12 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kings maintains first position with 3-0 record. Loser Meralco Bolts dropped to the third place with four games lost. They share the position with TNT Tropang and Fubon Braves.
