There was an upset when higher rankedAnyang (10-12) was defeated at home by ninth ranked KoGas (6-16) 91-80 on Monday. KoGas dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Anyang 's 30. The former international forward Dae-Heon Lee (198-1992) scored 21 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-1989, college: St.Bonaventure) chipped in 21 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Hyo-Geun Jeong (200-1993) with 19 points and 9 rebounds and the former international point guard Jihoon Park (184-1995) scored 16 points and 9 assists. Four Anyang players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. KoGas maintains ninth position with 6-16 record. Defending champion Anyang dropped to the sixth place with 12 games lost.
