Very expected game when 9th rankedSamsung Thunders (3-16) were smashed on the road by first ranked Wonju DB (16-3) 91-67 on Friday. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Dedric Lawson (206-1997, college: Kansas) who led the winners and scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Jongkyu Kim (184-1988) accounted for 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Jamaican center Kofi Cockburn (213-1999, college: Illinois) came up with 22 points and 9 rebounds and the former international Junghyun Lee (190-1999) added 11 points respectively for Seoul Thunders in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Wonju DB maintains first place with 16-3 record. Seoul Thunders lost their sixth game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with 16 games lost.
