The game between second rankedAnyang (7-4) and fourth ranked Sakers Anyang was crushed by Sakers in Anyang 77-106 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Anyang. Sakers dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Anyang 's 44. They outrebounded Anyang 37-23 including a 29-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sakers looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a good game for Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international forward Hongseok Yang (199-1997) contributed with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Five Sakers players scored in double figures. American power forward Darryl Monroe (202-1986, college: GMU) answered with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international point guard Jihoon Park (184-1995) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Anyang. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sakers moved-up to third place, which they share with Seoul Knights and Suwon KT. Defending champion Anyang keeps the second position with four games lost.
