Semi-Finals Game 2: TNT Tropang - Meralco Bolts 117-124

Meralco Bolts dominated down low during the game scoring 86 of its points in the paint compared to TNT Tropang's 54. They outrebounded TNT Tropang 58-42 including 22 on the offensive glass. Meralco Bolts looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by TNT Tropang helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American swingman KJ McDaniels (198-1993, college: Clemson) who had a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 20 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Aaron Black (185-1996) chipped in a double-double by scoring 28 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. American forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (201-1995, college: Arizona) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists and naturalized American guard Michael Williams (188-1991, college: CS Fullerton) added 29 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Meralco Bolts and five TNT Tropang players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
