The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Wonju DB's (22-27) home victory over 8th ranked Suwon KT (20-31) 82-70 on Thursday. The best player for the winners was American guard Ethan Alvano (185-1996, college: CSUSM) who scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import DeJon Davis (201-1998, college: CBU) chipped in 19 points. Alvano is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was Hungarian-American power forward Jarrod Jones (207-1990, college: Ball St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center Yoongi Ha (203-1999) added 22 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Suwon KT's coach Se-Woong Park tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Wonju DB. They moved-up to sixth place. Suwon KT lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 31 games lost. Wonju DB will meet league's leader Anyang on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Suwon KT will play against KCC Egis (#7) in Jeonju and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
