Very expected game when 10th ranked Seoul Thunders (13-38) lost to fourth ranked Mobis Phoebus (31-19) in Ulsan 80-98 on Tuesday. Mobis Phoebus looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American forward Justin Knox (206-1989, college: UNC) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and Filipino guard Rhon Jhay Abarrientos (181-1999) supported him with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Knox is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 21 points by swingman Dong-Hyuk Shin (191-2000) did not help to save the game for Seoul Thunders. Center Weon-Seok Lee (203-2000) added 15 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Mobis Phoebus have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 31-19 record. Seoul Thunders lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 38 lost games. Mobis Phoebus will meet at home league's leader Anyang in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Seoul Thunders will play against Goyang (#5) and hope to secure a win.
