No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Seoul Knights (32-19) beat on the road bottom-ranked Seoul Thunders (13-38) 78-72 on Sunday. Seoul Knights dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Seoul Thunders' 38. American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) notched a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international guard Sunh-Yung Kim (187-1988) supported him with 19 points. Even 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by the former international forward Jung-Hyun Lee (191-1987) did not help to save the game for Seoul Thunders. American forward Anthony Morse (206-1994, college: Tenn Tech, agency: SLN) added 15 points and 13 rebounds for the hosts. Four Seoul Thunders players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Seoul Knights have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Seoul Thunders lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 38 lost games. Seoul Knights will meet at home KCC Egis (#6) in the next round. Seoul Thunders will play against Goyang (#5) and hope to secure a win.
