The game between Top Four teams took place in Kuwait City. Top-ranked Kuwaiti host Kuwait (5-0) smashed 4th ranked Bahrain Al-Manama (2-3) 106-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Al-Manama. Kuwait dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Al-Manama's 36. They outrebounded Al-Manama 42-27 including 32 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by U.S. Virgin Islands-American forward Marcus Georges-Hunt (196-1994, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored that evening 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Georgian-American point guard Jacob Pullen (183-1989, college: Kansas St., agency: AltusBasket) supported him with 24 points and 4 assists. Five Kuwait players scored in double figures. Kuwait's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 24 points and 6 rebounds by American forward Steve Taylor Jr. (206-1993, college: Toledo) did not help to save the game for Al-Manama. His fellow American import Lamont Jones (183-1990, college: Iona, agency: Diamond Sports) added 22 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Kuwait have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending Kuwaiti champion maintains first position with 5-0 record. Defending Bahrain champion Al-Manama keeps the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Kuwait will play against Al Nassr (#6) in Riyadh in the next round where they are favorite. Al-Manama will play at home against Al Sadd and hopes to get back on the winning track.
