The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Malaysian NS Matrix (9-3) on the court of sixth ranked Macau Macau on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by Macau 75-65. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of NS Matrix. American players dominated the game. DeQuan Abrom (188-1996, college: Belm.Abbey) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. Center DeAngelo Hamilton (203-1990, college: WSU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Four Macau players scored in double figures. Center Tevin Glass (203-1994, college: ETSU) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 22 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Isaiah Williams (188-1995, college: Georgia St., agency: BIG) added 15 points in the effort for NS Matrix. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Macau maintains sixth place with 6-7 record. Defending Malaysian champion NS Matrix still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with Saigon Heat. Macau are looking forward to face Louvre S. (#7) in Surabaya in the next round. NS Matrix will play at home against Tigers (#8) and is hoping to win this game.
