Sixth-ranked Suwon KT (17-21) gave a tough game to first ranked Anyang (28-10) in Busan on Monday. The visitors from Anyang managed to secure only three-point victory 87-84. However their fans expected much easier game. Anyang looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American Omari Spellman (207-1997, college: Villanova) stepped up and scored 40 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds for the winners and the former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-1987) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. Hungarian-American power forward Jarrod Jones (207-1990, college: Ball St.) responded with 23 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Hongseok Yang (199-1997) scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. Suwon KT's coach Se-Woong Park rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Anyang have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 28-10 record. Suwon KT at the other side keeps the sixth position with 21 games lost. Anyang are looking forward to face Mobis Phoebus (#3) in Ulsan in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Suwon KT will play on the road against Goyang in Daegu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
