The game between Top Four teams took place in . Third ranked Malaysian host NS Matrix (5-2) defeated one of their biggest challengers Singapore Singapore S. (4-3) 88-79. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Singapore S.. NS Matrix looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Amir Williams (211-1992, college: Ohio St.) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Chun-Hong Ting (193-1996) chipped in 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four NS Matrix players scored in double figures. NS Matrix's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Kentrell Barkley (195-1996, college: ECU, agency: Haylett Sports) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 7 assists and his fellow American import center CJ Gettys (213-1994, college: Rutgers, agency: Haylett Sports) added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. NS Matrix have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending Malaysian champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Saigon Heat. Loser Singapore S. keeps the fourth position with three games lost. NS Matrix will meet league's leader HK Eastern in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Singapore S. will play against Louvre S. in Surabaya and hope to secure a win.
