Qualifying Round Round 4: Al Sadd - Al-Manama 94-99

Bahrain Al-Manama's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after two consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Doha, where they defeated Qatari Al Sadd (1-2) 99-94. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Hassan Nawrooz (185-1988) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 assists and point guard Mustafa Rashed (177-2002) who added 18 points and 5 assists during the contest. Five Al-Manama players scored in double figures. At the losing side American Vander Blue (196-1992, college: Marquette) responded with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Babacar Dieng (197-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds. Defending Bahrain champion left bottom position moving up to fourth place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Al Sadd. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
