Very important is a home loss of second ranked LG Sakers (16-12) against seventh ranked Goyang (13-15) on Saturday night. Host LG Sakers were defeated by Goyang in a tough game in Changwon 64-73. Strangely LG Sakers outrebounded Goyang 48-34 including 19 on the offensive glass. American power forward Dedric Lawson (206-1997, college: Kansas) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Seonghyen Jeon (190-1991) chipped in 21 points. Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 22 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-1991) added 15 points respectively for lost side. LG Sakers' coach Sung-Won Cho let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Goyang moved-up to sixth place, which they share with KCC Egis. Loser LG Sakers keep the second position with 12 games lost. Goyang will meet at home KoGas (#9) in the next round. LG Sakers will play against Wonju DB (#8) and hope to secure a win.
