Regular Season Round 22: KoGas - Seoul Thunders 83-77

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Seoul Thunders' (10-20) road loss to ninth ranked KoGas (12-15) 77-83 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for KoGas especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. American power forward Devon Scott (206-1994, college: Dayton) fired 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The other American import forward Murphy Holloway (201-1990, college: Ole Miss, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four KoGas players scored in double figures. American forward Emanuel Terry (206-1996, college: LMU) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and the former international point guard Si-Rae Kim (179-1989) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KoGas moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Wonju DB. Seoul Thunders lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 20 games lost. KoGas will meet higher ranked Goyang (#7) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Seoul Thunders will play against KCC Egis and hope to secure a win.
