Regular Season Round 3: NS Matrix - Macau 73-54

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when Macau Macau (0-3) was crushed on the road by Malaysian NS Matrix (2-2) 73-54 on Friday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when NS Matrix made 8 blocks. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was center Tevin Glass (203-1994, college: ETSU, agency: BIG) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. Center Amir Williams (211-1992, college: Ohio St.) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Five NS Matrix players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Isaiah Wade (201-1998, college: UCO) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and DeQuan Abrom (188-1996, college: Belm.Abbey) added 17 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. NS Matrix will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Macau will play against Tigers (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
