Regular Season Round 22: KCC Egis - Seoul Knights 70-78

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Seoul Knights' (16-13) road victory over 5th ranked KCC Egis (13-15) 78-70 on Friday. It was a great shooting night for Seoul Knights especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international guard Sunh-Yung Kim (187-1988) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 assists. Five Seoul Knights players scored in double figures. Seoul Knights' coach Hee-Chul Chun used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international forward Guna Ra (203-1989, college: Missouri) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds and the former international center Seung-Hyun Lee (201-1992) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Seoul Knights have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Loser KCC Egis dropped to the sixth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Goyang. Seoul Knights will meet league's leader Anyang on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KCC Egis will play against Suwon KT (#5) in Busan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
