Qualifying Round Round 3: Al Karameh - Al Riyadi 67-89

Another exciting game was played in Homs between Lebanese Al Riyadi and Syrian Al Karameh where Al Riyadi (2-1) crushed Al Karameh (1-2) on the road with 22-point difference 89-67. Al Riyadi players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a good game for South Sudanese-Lebanese center Ater Majok (210-1987, college: UConn) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Guard Amir Saoud (186-1991) contributed with 26 points and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Ishaq Oubid (192-1995) answered with 15 points and 5 assists and forward Omar Cheikh-Ali (204-1991) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Al Karameh. Al Karameh's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
