Leader Anyang delivered the nineteenth victory on Thursday night. This time they beat 8th ranked Wonju DB (11-13) 92-74. Worth to mention a quality performance of American Omari Spellman (207-1997, college: Villanova) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds and forward Byeonghun Bae (188-1990) who added 13 points during the contest. The former international center Jongkyu Kim (207-1991) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and guard Ethan Albano (185-1996) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Four Wonju DB players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Anyang have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 19-7 record. Loser Wonju DB dropped to the sixth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Goyang. Anyang will again meet Wonju DB (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Wonju DB will play against Seoul Knights and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
