Regular Season Round 15: Wonju DB - Seoul Knights 68-97

Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Seoul Knights (10-11) smashed on the road 9th ranked Wonju DB (8-11) 97-68 on Sunday. Seoul Knights shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) who scored 26 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward Leon Williams (203-1986, college: Ohio) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Four Seoul Knights players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Ethan Albano (185-1996) who recorded 21 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Lennard Freeman (203-1995, college: NC State) added 6 points and 11 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Seoul Knights went down to sixth position due to points difference. Wonju DB lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with 11 games lost. Seoul Knights will meet higher ranked Goyang (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Wonju DB will play against Mobis Phoebus in Ulsan and hope to secure a win.
