Regular Season Round 14: LG Sakers - Suwon KT 69-81

The most important game in the last round took place in Changwon between second ranked LG Sakers (12-9) and tenth ranked Suwon KT (7-12) on Saturday night. LG Sakers were defeated by Suwon KT at home 69-81. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of LG Sakers. Suwon KT made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. American swingman EJ Anosike (201-1998, college: CS Fullerton) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Hongseok Yang (199-1997) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Suwon KT players scored in double figures. American forward Dante Cunningham (203-1987, college: Villanova) replied with 17 points and 8 rebounds and the former international center Jun-Yl Kim (202-1992) added 23 points in the effort for LG Sakers. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Suwon KT maintains tenth position with 7-12 record. LG Sakers at the other side keep the second place with nine games lost. Suwon KT will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. LG Sakers will play at home against Seoul Thunders and are hoping to win this game.
