There was a minor upset when 5th ranked Seoul Thunders (8-10) were edged on the road by seventh ranked Wonju DB (7-8) 65-62 on Friday. The best player for the winners was guard Ethan Albano (185-1996) who scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. American power forward Dewan Hernandez (211-1997, college: Miami, FL) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Emanuel Terry (206-1996, college: LMU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds and center Weon-Seok Lee (203-2000) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Wonju DB maintains seventh position with 7-8 record. Loser Seoul Thunders keep the fifth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Seoul Knights. Wonju DB will meet at home higher ranked Mobis Phoebus (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Seoul Thunders' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Seoul Seoul Knights.
