Regular Season Round 10: Al Adalah - Al Ahli 49-101

SBL top team - Al Ahly (10-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked Al Adalah (3-7) 101-49. Al Ahly forced 19 Al Adalah turnovers and had a 35-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Devin Ebanks (206-1989, college: WVU, agency: Interperformances) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and the other American import forward Deandre Liggins (198-1988, college: Kentucky) supported him with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Al Ahly players scored in double figures. Al Ahly's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists by Tunisian swingman Islem Elajmi (196-1991) did not help to save the game for Al Adalah. Moayad Alsharif added 12 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Al Ahly have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-0 record. Newly promoted Al Adalah keeps the eighth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Deba. Al Ahly will play against Al Ansar (#11) in Medina in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al Adalah will play on the road against Al Salam in Al-Awamiyah and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
