Regular Season Round 10: Suwon KT - LG Sakers 71-83

Everything went according to plan in Busan where fourth ranked LG Sakers (9-6) won against 6th ranked Suwon KT (6-8) 83-71 on Saturday. LG Sakers dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Suwon KT's 24. They outrebounded Suwon KT 44-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-1991) chipped in 8 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. At the losing side the former international forward Hongseok Yang (199-1997) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and American swingman EJ Anosike (201-1998, college: CS Fullerton) scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. Five Suwon KT players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. LG Sakers moved-up to third place. Loser Suwon KT keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. They share it with Wonju DB. LG Sakers will meet Seoul Thunders (#5) on the road in the next round. Suwon KT will have a break next round.
