Very expected game when 9th ranked Seoul Knights (4-7) lost to second ranked Goyang (7-3) in Daegu 92-102 on Thursday. The winners were led by American power forward Dedric Lawson (206-1997, college: Kansas) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds and the former international Lee Jung-Hyun (190-1999) supported him with 18 points and 6 assists. Four Goyang players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds by American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) did not help to save the game for Seoul Knights. The former international guard Sunh-Yung Kim (187-1988) added 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Goyang have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 7-3 record having 2 victories less than leader Anyang. Defending champion Seoul Knights dropped to the seventh place with seven games lost. Goyang will meet at home Wonju DB (#5) in the next round. Seoul Knights will play against Suwon KT and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
