The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Seoul: Seoul Thunders (#7) and Seoul Knights (#8). Seoul Knights were defeated at home 86-90 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Seoul Thunders made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Seoul Knights helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Emanuel Terry (206-1996, college: LMU) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. The other American import forward Marcus Derrickson (201-1996, college: Georgetown) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks and the former international guard Sunh-Yung Kim (187-1988) added 17 points and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Five Seoul Thunders and four Seoul Knights players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Seoul Thunders (3-4) moved-up to sixth place. Seoul Knights lost third consecutive game. Defending champion keep the eighth position with four games lost. They share it with KoGas and Suwon KT. Seoul Thunders are looking forward to face league's second-placed Mobis Phoebus in Ulsan in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Seoul Knights will play on the road against KCC Egis (#7) in Jeonju and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
