There was no surprise when 7th ranked Seoul Thunders (3-4) were defeated on the road by third ranked Wonju DB (4-1) 94-81 on Thursday. Wonju DB looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Seoul Thunders' players. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Dewan Hernandez (211-1997, college: Miami, FL) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 6 rebounds and the former international guard Kyungmin Doo (184-1991) who added 15 points during the contest. Four Wonju DB players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Emanuel Terry (206-1996, college: LMU) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and the former international forward Jung-Hyun Lee (191-1987) scored 17 points and 5 assists. Seoul Thunders' coach Sang-Min Lee rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Wonju DB have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Mobis Phoebus. Loser Seoul Thunders dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Wonju DB will meet LG Sakers (#5) in the next round. Seoul Thunders will play against the league's second-placed Mobis Phoebus and hope to secure a win.
