Regular Season Round 3: Seoul Thunders - KoGas 81-70

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when KoGas (1-3) were defeated on the road by Seoul Thunders (2-3) 81-70 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American forward Marcus Derrickson (201-1996, college: Georgetown) who scored 25 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Dong-Yeop Lee (194-1994) chipped in 9 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Senegalese center Youssou Ndoye (213-1991, college: St.Bonaventure) who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192-1990, college: BYU-Hawaii) added 19 points respectively. Four KoGas players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Seoul Thunders' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Seoul to the arena Seoul Knights.
