Regular Season Round 2: Goyang - LG Sakers 89-82

There was an upset when LG Sakers lost to Goyang in Daegu 82-89 on Friday. Goyang made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. American power forward Dedric Lawson (206-1997, college: Kansas) notched 20 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and international guard Seonghyen Jeon (190-1991) supported him with 19 points and 4 assists. Even 24 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by the former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-1991) did not help to save the game for LG Sakers. Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) added 15 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Goyang will meet KCC Egis in the next round. LG Sakers will play against Suwon KT and hope to secure a win.
