The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Fateh (2-1) in Jeddah on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by Al Ahly (3-0) 72-61. Al Ahly made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Al Ahly outrebounded Al Fateh 49-28 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American forward Devin Ebanks (206-1989, college: WVU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Deandre Liggins (198-1988, college: Kentucky) contributed with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Al Ahly players scored in double figures. Al Ahly's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mohammed Alsaqer answered with 19 points and 9 rebounds and American swingman Roderick Camphor (193-1992, college: SWOSU) added 19 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Al Fateh.
