Finals Game 2: Lioneers - Fubon Braves 81-102

Fubon Braves drew things even in the championship series. They knocked down Lioneers to tie things up at 1-1. The game was mostly controlled by Fubon Braves. Lioneers managed to win fourth quarter 14-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fubon Braves looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Michael Singletary (198-1988, college: Texas Tech) who had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds. The former international guard Chih-Chieh Lin (192-1982) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-1992, college: NM State) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Kuo-Hao Kao (179-1998) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for Fubon Braves. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
