Finals Game 1: Lioneers - Fubon Braves 102-101

Lioneers nipped Fubon Braves to take the lead in the Finals. Lioneers trailed by 17 points at the halftime before their 52-34 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Lioneers looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Fubon Braves helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-1992, college: NM State) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) for the winners. The former international center Chia-Jui Lee (200-1994) chipped in 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Lioneers players scored in double figures. American forward Michael Singletary (198-1988, college: Texas Tech) produced a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Ukrainian power forward Igor Zaytsev (210-1989, agency: BIG) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Fubon Braves' coach Chin-Tse Hsu rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
