Fubon Braves shot 29 for 40 from the free-throw line, while Dreamers only scored eleven points from the stripe. Fubon Braves forced 26 Dreamers turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Dreamers were plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Michael Singletary (198-1988, college: Texas Tech) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 18 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international guard Chih-Chieh Lin (192-1982) contributed with 27 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Fubon Braves' coach Chin-Tse Hsu allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American center Brandon Gilbeck (213-1996, college: W.Illinois) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds and the former international point guard Chun-Chi Lin (180-1998) added 23 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists in the effort for Dreamers. Five Dreamers players scored in double figures.
