New Taipei CTBC held off Taichung Suns to draw things even in the series. N.Taipei CTBC dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Suns' 36 and made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. N.Taipei CTBC forced 20 Suns turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American Marlon Johnson (208-1994, college: NMHU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 17 rebounds. The other American import forward Aaron Epps (207-1996, college: LSU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Palestinian power forward Sani Sakakini (204-1988) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Anthony Tucker (193-1989, college: MSUM) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Suns. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
