FE Nagoya outgunned Kumamoto to take the lead in the series. FE Nagoya shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 52.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Scootie Randall (198-1990, college: Temple) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import forward Jeremy Jones (201-1996, college: Gonzaga) contributed with 25 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-1990, college: Texas) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 9 rebounds and 12 assists and point guard Ryusei Sasaki (180-1996) added 17 points and 4 assists in the effort for Kumamoto V.Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
