Gorgan claimed 2-1 advantage in the Finals. They stormed past Zob Ahan to surge ahead. The game without a history. Gorgan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Gorgan outrebounded Zob Ahan 44-26 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American-Guinea-Bissau point guard Perry Petty (185-1988, college: UTRGV) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. International Mohammad Jamshidi (199-1991, agency: BIG) helped adding 20 points and 5 rebounds. Petty is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Gorgan players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Canadian guard Amir Gholizadeh (198, college: Tallahassee) with 9 points and 5 rebounds and the former international swingman Ashkan Khalilnejad (191-1991) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
