Astana fired past Tobol to complete the sweep. Astana dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Tobol's 34. Astana had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Tobol's players. The best player for the winners was Russian forward Mark Tikhonenko (208-1998, college: Chattanooga) who scored 15 points and 5 assists. American forward Antonio Campbell (206-1994, college: Ohio, agency: Network Sports International) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Astana players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was international forward Anton Bykov (200-1989) who recorded 18 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Maxim Voeikov (195-1985) added 11 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
